Romania is going through a major crisis for man's best friend. In September 2013, several stray dogs killed a 4 year old child, named Ionut, on a waste land near a park in Bucharest.
The thrill and the public pressure led to the amendment of the animal protection law. Under this new law, stray dogs can be euthanized after 14 days if they are not adopted.
